Santa Teresa New Mexico is a young border trade community that is rapidly developing along the U.S. Mexico Border. It has an International port of entry with San Jeronimo, which is a municipality of Ciudad Juarez, in the State of Chihuahua.

 San Jeronimo the newest port of entry that is now used as an alternative to the busy crossings between El Paso Texas and Ciudad Juarez. San Jeronimo/ Santa Teresa port of entry, is now the fourth commercial port of entry in the Juarez-El Paso-Santa Teresa region, best known as Paso del Norte region.
